What Made You Get Started In Personal Training?
DTT- I realized at age 12 that the only time that I felt truly alive was when I was working out. I loved exercising and movement and was stronger than normal for my age. I went into the military maxed the Basic Combat Training Physical Training Test and was chosen from my platoon to train 70+ soldiers in physical exercise on a daily basis. I trained soldiers to pass the PT test and fell in love with training others.
What is your Personal Training Style?
DTT- The way that I train is adaptable to what the client needs. Some people need a workout partner while others need a drill Sargent, and everyone needs respect. I make sure to read and learn how to connect with each of my clients individually. Coming in with my own rigid methods of training, exercise and nutrition doesn't do anything but slow down results. My clientele doesn't have time for me to do things with them that doesn't work for the indvidual. By me being adaptable in my delivery of the knowledge we save our most valuable commodity...Time.
What is your training Philosophy?
DTT- My training philosophy is that you can not have life-changing and lasting results with out training your mind as well as the body. The only exercises and habits that have impact and "matter" are the ones that you will consistently do. My job as your personal trainer is to coach,educate, and guide you through your transformation. I use science, my unique perspective, knowledge and experience gained from training with thousands of humans to give you potent insights. Insights spanning your mindset, exercise implementation, nutrition and accountability become your tools for living a fit life as long as you live. By establishing new habits based off of these insights, results become inevitable!
Why focus on Workaholics?
DTT- Because I am and always have been a workaholic. I have always had multiple pots on the stove at once. I love how it feels to be productively busy. Workaholics usually have experienced success in other areas of life and I like to coach them to I genuinely love motivating and successfully redirecting the energy of people with amazing work ethics,I find that they often get the best results. I also know first hand that melding exercise with a demanding career,work or family schedule and achieving your personal fitness goals can take Herculean effort sometimes. I genuinely want everyone in the world to accomplish whats important to them. Being in the best shape that you can be in physically, enhances all pursuits in life.
Who is your Ideal Client?
DTT- I have been fortunate enough to work with fortune 100 executives, celebrities, soldiers, athletes, housewives and every day people. After all of that I have concluded that occupations, vocations and social status are irrelevant when it comes to me investing my best into a person who has invested in attaining my coaching expertise. I am all about making genuine human connections inside of and outside of my work. I love working with people who value the importance of time and are coach-able. The most rewarding person for me to work with is the person who is finished kicking the tires around their fitness goals and is ready to make a full-on commitment to themselves.
What do you charge?
DTT- Since I do not subscribe to a cookie cutter method of training or simply sell sessions I can not furnish a price list online. When can I expect to see results?
DTT- I have found that although bodies respond to stimuli differently that the biggest obstacle to rapid and lasting results is people mentally adopting the habit changes that we discover together and I recommend. How closely you implement them determines results. It usually takes the body 4-6 weeks before it starts to believe that it has to change due to the sustained new actions that you are taking. On an aggressive program with dedication and commitment to all aspects of the program that we construct, you can expect to see changes even faster.
